1. Cottage Cheese! Adding fresh fruit to some yummy cottage cheese will add flavor! You could also sneak in hemp seeds to add nutrients. Cottage cheese is a great source of protein for your little one and will keep them full for a while!
2. Oatmeal. This one is super simple and a great option for a cooler day. Instead of adding water to the oats, try adding any extra breast milk to it to give your little one more nutrients! You may also throw in some cut-up strawberries, mashed bananas, or cinnamon for some flavor. Strawberries also help to give them some vitamin C!
3. Avocado toast. Whole-grain bread is a good option for this. Whole grains give your baby fiber and iron! Lightly toast the bread and cut off the crusts. Then spread an avocado on it for them and let them have fun with it! Avocado is a super food full of healthy fats. It gives your baby folate, potassium, magnesium, and so many other nutrients! Iron is an essential nutrient for babies!
4. French Toast. This one you can also use whole grain bread or whole wheat bread. Avoid maple syrup because of the sugar content for it to be on the healthier side! I cut it into small pieces so it is an easy finger food.
5. Whole Milk Plain Greek Yogurt! Yogurt is great because it gives them a bunch of extra protein but can be a bit messy. We will add cinnamon or banana to ours! Any soft fruits are a great add-in! Perfect for a last-minute breakfast.
6. Eggs! Scramble them! You can also serve some fresh, cut-up fruit! This is great for the whole family to enjoy!
7. Hard-Boiled Eggs. This one is defiantly not the easiest on the list because of the peeling, but it is perfect if it is prepped ahead of time. That allows you to grab it from the fridge when ready and cut it into smaller pieces for your little one! They will love it.
8. 3 ingredient pancakes! (A super easy recipe!) For these pancakes, you’ll only need an egg, one medium banana, and 2 tsp of flour. You’ll combine and cook! I like to make mini pancakes for my 9-month-old baby. You can add in a pinch of cinnamon, some blueberries or raspberries, chia seeds, or whatever else your little one loves! It is a great way to sneak in different textures and new flavors to help your child get aquatinted with them.
9. Sweet Potatoes! I know, this one may seem out of place, but try it first! They pair great with eggs and avocado! Sweet potatoes are high in fiber.
10. Overnight Oats! This may take a bit of meal planning but you’ll combine a 1:1 ratio of rolled oats to milk plus half of the ratio in yogurt. Example: 1 cup of oats and milk then half cup of yogurt! You can add anything to it that you’d like! Such as berries, citrus fruits, chia seeds, or peanut butter.

They may be a bit messy with it in the beginning and it may take them a few times to understand how to drink it.
